My Dream Destination

I’m a greedy person hence my dream destination would be the WORLD! Why? Simple, I have not been anywhere except for Singapore, Bangkok and Bali. Even in Malaysia, I have not covered the whole of Peninsula and East Malaysia yet. There are so many different cultures, histories, traditions and religions in the world to discover, as such, it’s not fair to just point to 1 destination. Of course, I do have my no.1 destination once I have saved enough, Venice, Italy.

Why Venice?

Venice is a beautiful city of art, with it’s beautiful cityscape, uniqueness and rich musical and artistic cultural heritage. It’s one of the most visited city in the world. I am a sucker for museums and there are so many museums to go to; Biblioteca Nazionale Marciana, Gallerie dell'Accademia and Museo Correr to name a few. There are also piazzas, palaces, churches and bridges to visit. Not forgetting the Grand Canal, a ride in the Gondola and the famous Florian coffee bar in St. Mark's Square, a famous landmark in Venice… drooling… my kind of Heaven!

If I didn’t get to save enough then I’ll have to settle for an Asian destination before I’m too old to travel which is Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. Huh Kuching??? Yes, the city of cats… LOL!

Similar to Venice, it has various museums and historical places to go to i.e. Sarawak Museum, Kuching Cat Museum, The Astana, Tua Pek Kong Temple, Bako National Park and the Kuching Wetlands National Park to name a few. It is also famous for it’s local hawker food such as Sarawak Laksa, Kuching Kolo Mee and Tomato Noodle… drooling again! Sigh!

We can now find more information on the destination we want to go to via MAStraveller.com, which has been created by the travellers, for the travellers. You can read from other travel bloggers or you can also start your own travel blog! There is also a Trip Planner shared by other travellers to guide you on your future trips. I especially like the ‘What’s new’ tab ;-) Contests. Deals. Promos said it all :p
